Then my computer crashed. Finally I was able to get my computer fixed and download a new version of Bitcoin-Qt. Now I would like to import my original wallet.dat from the old client which was encrypted into an new version of Bitcoin-Qt.

I've tried to import the private keys to a different wallet.dat, but in all altcoins, it results in 0 balances.

Erase wallet.dat in the new qt wallet and replace it with the wallet.dat file you want to import, then sync as normal.
Remember it is always good practice to backup your wallet.dat from hyper folder in %APPDATA% to your desktop before upgrading to a newer wallet version.

Even though I do not recommend online wallets, this is a way for you to do it. I think that you could import it before registering although I think that registering will be needed after. You could also go to a friend who uses Bitcoin and just put your wallet.dat into his Bitcoin directory and do what you want to...
