Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven was released in 1998 by 3DO, and is part of the Might and Magic series. The world had not seen another Might and Magic game in five years before this, as the previous Might and Magic chapter was released in 1993.
Might and Magic 6 may look bad in todays standards, however what lies underneath its dated engine is a complex storyline outclassed only by the depth of its class, skill system, non-linear plot and critically acclaimed musical score.
The player's task is to restore this bond, the "Mandate of Heaven", for the well-being of the land. However, there is so much substance to MM6 that it is easy to get sidetracked by minor quests. This is a huge game...
