Light, fluffy, and super crunchy, this onion ring batter gets its perfect texture from (you guessed it) Bisquick! Recipe: Beer-Battered Onion Rings.
Toss onion rings and 1/4 cup Bisquick. Stir remaining 2 cups Bisquick, beer, salt and eggs until smooth. (If batter seems too thick, add more beer, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency).

A favorite around my house is Beer Batter Onion Rings on lazy Sunday afternoons.
These Beer-Battered Onion Rings have a super crunchy exterior thanks to the addition of cornstarch and baking powder in the batter. The onions are soaked in beer and a touch of vinegar which both flavors them and tenderizes them so that they are easy to bite through.
